I recently went to a friend’s house, who also happens to be a neighbor AND she has a home decor Instagram account like me! (@midweststylebymel) I hadn’t been over in a while and everything was so pretty! I left feeling super inspired and wanting to swap out our entry bench with a table. So I did what any sane person would do and hauled a giant table down the stairs by myself because I was too impatient to wait for the hubby to get home.
The main reason for wanting the change was I wanted have a lamp in the entryway to cozy it up. It’s always so dark and with winter coming, about to get darker. So I stole the bookshelf I had in the kids “hangout” room and I’m now using it as an entry table.
I absolutely love this shelf/console table. I’ll just call it an entry table. It’s from the Hearth & Hand line at Target and this particular line has the best wood tone. Not orange at all. I also love the cane detail on the shelves.
Long story short, I’m so happy with it and I had a lot of fun styling it. I’ll link everything I can below.

This art was an inexpensive downloadable print from Etsy. I had it printed at FedEx, found the frame at Goodwill and distressed it with some sand paper and white paint mixed with water. Click here for a round up of all my favorite downloadable art prints.
