I recently swapped out our old, outdated cherry wood desk with a desk from World Market that had been on my wish list for a long time. It was worth the wait! The size, wood tone and style are exactly what I wanted.

That of course meant that I needed a new office chair to go with it. I’ve had this chair in our primary suite closet for a couple years and love the look of it, so when the new desk arrived, I brought it in the office to see how it looked with the desk. I loved it and ordered one for the office too!

Note: I have the Natural color chair, not the gray.

The armoire was a lucky Craigslist find about 10 years ago. I’ve since painted it (SW Accessible Beige) and swapped out the hardware. It’s fun when pieces are classic and you can tweak them over the years to suit your changing style.
