My daughter Grace turned 12 a couple months ago and her room is in need of some updating. Her little 3 drawer Ikea dresser that she’s had since she was a baby definitely isn’t cutting it for storage anymore. I’ve decided to move our 6 drawer Ikea Hemnes dresser into her bedroom and get a new dresser for our bedroom.

We’re also upgrading her bed to a Queen. She’s been wanting a Queen size bed for years, but I was always apprehensive because her full size bed frame is a family heirloom. I’ve told myself that it’s ok for it to go safely into storage for the next generation. I ordered this beautiful upholstered bed and a queen size mattress last night. I’m so excited for a new, more grown up look in her room! I’ll be sharing everything on my Instagram account, so make sure you’re following there!
