I am far from a fashion blogger. I’m just a regular girl who’s been shopping for cute dresses and swimsuits for our upcoming trip to Seaside/30A, Florida. This will be our first time to the area and I can not wait! I’ve heard and read so many good things about it, including how family friendly it is. We were supposed to go last April, but you know…..Coronavirus. So now, after a crazy year, we finally get our much needed family vacation!
I’ll start off by saying that I am not a size 2. I’m actually more like a size 12/14 and I know I am not alone when it comes to dreading swimsuit shopping! I decided not to worry about the size, and just focus on the styles/colors I love. I also just wanted something that would be comfortable to wear all day at the beach/pool. This led me to Aerie’s swimsuit collection. First of all, I love that they have real women modeling their swimsuits on their website. It is so refreshing and makes me feel like it’s ok to have flaws! I bought 3 swimsuits that I really love. They’re all one pieces, but I still feel like they’re cute and youthful.
I’ve been ordering everything online and if it hasn’t worked out, I just return it! It’s really nice to try things on at home. I have ordered a lot of dresses from Amazon, and most of them haven’t worked out, but hey….free returns! I’ll include the few that did work out.
Ok, here you go! A round up of comfortable, cute and affordable beach vacation styles tried on by an average size 12/14 kind of girl.
Lets stay connected…
